    The Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation's Post

    Eleven years ago today, Dan died from multiple kroppsdel failure caused by MDMA toxicity, after spending two and a bit long days in intensive care on life support, with his parents and brother by his side, willing him to live.
    Daniel Spargo-Mabbs was a bright, big-hearted, funny, outrageous and incredibly kind year-old. He was a boy with everything to live for, and much to give to the world. He dipped his toe into something that his parents learnt was increasingly normal, for increasing numbers of young people. Tim and Fiona started the Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation to prevent this from happening to anyone else’s child, determined to grow good things from this very bad, sad thing.
    At the heart of our work is Dan and his story – today, we remember Dan, a boy whose parents always knew that he would have made a difference, and changed the world for the better, and he certainly has.

    Tuck graduierte am College of William & Mary. Nach seiner Zulassung als Anwalt übte er seine Tätigkeit in Halifax aus. Des Weiteren wählte man ihn in Virginias Generalversammlung und zum Vizegouverneur von Virginia. Als Gouverneur reorganisierte er die Regierung, führte ein Recht-auf-Arbeit-Gesetz (right-to-work law) ein und schuf eine staatliche Gewässerkontrollbehörde.

    Tuck war von bis Abgeordneter im Repräsentantenhaus der Vereinigten Staaten, wo er die wesentlichsten Punkte der Bürgerrechtsgesetzgebung während der er und er ablehnte. Upon graduation, he taught Biology at Tolleson Union High School in Tolleson, Arizona as part of the Teach For America Phoenix Corps.
