1970 Plymouth Barracuda For Sale
In 1970, the Plymouth Barracuda was completely redesigned, moving from the A-body to the E-body platform. The new long-hood, short-deck design, and wider body allowed Chrysler engineers to add the larger 426 Hemi, 440, and 383-cu.in. V-8 engines to the lineup. The base 1970 Barracuda was available as a coupe or convertible with the six-cylinder, V-8, three-speed automatic, or four-speed options.

Performance: The 1970 Barracuda was available in ‘Cuda trim with the 425hp 426 Hemi engine, 390hp 440, or 375hp 440. Quarter-mile times were low 13s with the right conditions and equipment.
