Sasural Simar Ka (transl. Simar's In-Laws) is an Indian Hindi-language television soap opera produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms that aired from 25 April 2011 to 2 March 2018 on Colors TV.[1][2] It is the second longest-running Indian television series on Colors TV, after Balika Vadhu.[3]
Plot
[edit]Roli and Simar are two sisters in Vrindavan, and Siddhant and Prem are two brothers in Delhi. Simar aspires to be a dancer. Her marriage is fixed with a wealthy businessman, Prem Bharadwaj. On the wedding day, Simar participates in a dance competition, and Roli is forced to marry Prem. Prem tells the whole family the truth that he is married to Roli. Mata ji then decides that Prem will remarry Roli in front of Simar. This creates problems as Simar and Prem start loving each other. Prem's brother, Siddhant, marries Roli. Eventually, the Bhardwaj family finally accepts Simar and Roli as their
