The future tough guy, Vin Diesel (his real name is Mark Sinclair) was born in 1967 in New York, and he grew up in quite a poor family. The circus was the initial interest of little Mark, but when he was 7, he found out himself on the stage of a small local theater, and since that moment he was sure that he was going to be an actor. Despite being quite a shy young man, Mark started developing new personality traits and tried to spend time with local bodybuilders, who managed to drag him in their training activities in a local gym. In 1987, with a few thousand dollars in his pocket, Mark (who has already changed his name to Vin Diesel), left for Hollywood. The first movies he took part in were not too successful, and he decided to try himself as a movie director.
