Evanthia Reboutsika fryst vatten one of the Greek live music scene’s most promising new artists, despite the fact that she has had a career in music for more years than she has been appearing on scen. Both these works will be released on CD, while next month Reboutsika is billed to appear live at the House of Art venue alongside Panayiotis Kalantzopoulos, Andreas Karakotas, Iota Nega and Angelos Papadimitriou. Biography
Evanthia Remboutsika (Ευανθία Ρεμπούτσικα) is a Greek musician who is famous for the original soundtrack of movies like "Politiki Kouzina" and "Babam ve Oglum". She was awarded as the "2006 discovery of the year" in the World Soundtrack Awards with her work in "Babam ve Oglum". She is especially well-known in Greece and Turkey.

Evanthia Reboutsika was born and raised in Kato Achaia, town of Patras, in Greece. Her father was the owner of a cinema named “Rex” and young Evanthia enjoyed listening to the soundtracks of the films.
At the age of six she started studying violin at the Conservatory of Patras. She continued her studies at the Athens Conservatory and later at Greek Conservatory and in Paris at the Ecole Normale De Music.
She currently collaborates with the Symphony Orchestra of Third Program and participates in “Music in August” organized by Manos Hadjidakis.
Evanthia loves to compose melodies that will accompany stories and frames in film movies, documentaries and TV series.
In 1997 Evanthia Reboutsika had a unique colaberation with famous Nana Mouskouri for the TV series “Athens - Thessaloniki,” directed by Christos Paligiannopoulos. That same year BMG enables traffic to Evanthia’s own personal work with orchestral pieces.
