Dimitrios Kalopothakis
Francis Dimitrios Kalopothakis (August 20, - July 2, ) was born in Athens, the son of Rev. Dr. Michael Dimitrios Kalopothakis – minister, graduate of Columbia University and the Union Theological Seminary in New York, and pioneer of the protestant movement in Greece, and Martha Blackler Kalopothakis. Dimitrios Kalapothakis was a journalist, foreign correspondent, founder of multiple Greek newspapers, translator, Director of the Press Department of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs and adviser to Premier Venizelos. He dedicated most of his life to Hellenic causes and the nation of Greece. During his life he also wrote many theatric plays and authored several books. According to his obituary in The Boston Globe, he died in Athens on July 2, ; he was 80 years old.

Anna Diamantopoulou
Greek politician
Anna Diamantopoulou (Greek: Άννα Διαμαντοπούλου; born 26 February )[1] is a Greek civil engineer[2] and politician of the Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK) who currently serves as president of the Athens-based think tank "DIKTIO" Network for Reform in Greece and Europe.[3]
Earlier in her career, Diamantopoulou served as Minister of Education as well as Minister for Development, Competitiveness and Shipping. She also served as europeisk Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities in the Prodi kommission, a brev she held between and [4][5] She has since held various positions, including in corporate boards.
Education and academic career
[edit]Diamantopoulou attended Aristotle University of Thessaloniki where she received training in civil engineering and then earned graduate grad with honours on regional development from the Panteion University.[1]
