    UL: Please tell us a bit about your background and journey into creative coding.

    JM:I&#;ve combined code, animation, and visuals for around twenty years. It all began when I picked up a copy of Macromedia Flash and began doing daily artwork using its vector graphics tools. I started learning Actionscript to create websites for my art and soon realised that the code could also help make artwork. Other pioneers in this space, such as Joshua Davis, created art with Flash too. Using code, I could accept new inputs for the art, like spectrum data from my favourite music, GPS spatial data, or pure randomness. 

    Eventually, I stumbled upon the plotter art movement. I was deeply inspired by the physicality of using drawing machines and dedicated myself to making generative art for physical pen drawings.     EDMUND GRIFFITH of Porth yr Aur, Caernarvon, was the third son of William Griffith Fychan of Penrhyn, in the county of Caernarvon. He married Janet, daughter of Maredudd ap Ieuan ap Robert, the great-grandfather of Sir John Wynn the most notable of the house of Gwydir.

    Their fourth son was WILLIAM GRIFFITH (c. - ), who became rector of Llanfaethlu on 30 May , only to be evicted from his living later that same year, and to be reinstated sometime during It was he, who, for pounds, purchased the Ty'n-y-pant estate (later renamed Carreg-lwyd) in Anglesey, and married Elizabeth, daughter of Gruffydd ap Robert, Carne, Anglesey.     Christian Rohlfs (November 22, - January 8, ) was a German painter and printmaker, one of the important representatives of Germanexpressionism.

    Early life and education

    He was born in Groß Niendorf, Kreis Segeberg in Prussia. He took up painting as a teenager while convalescing from an infection[1] that was eventually to lead to the amputation of a leg in [2] He began his formal artistic education in Berlin,[2] before transferring, in , to the Weimar Academy.[1]

    Professional career

    In Rohlfs left Weimar for Hagen, where through the architect Henri van der Velde got to know the art collector Karl Ernst Osthaus who offered him a studio in an estate which would become the Museum Folkwang.[3] Rohlfs was the first artist to begin to work there.[3] Meetings with Edvard Munch and Emil Nolde and the experience of seeing the works of Vincent van Gogh inspired him to move towards the
