It was almost a piece of cake for a Gold Glove Winner and World Series Champion. "I definitely was nervous and I was hoping I reached I think I did pretty well I threw a strike or I threw somewhat of a strike but it was definitely nice to be honored," said Victorino. He's become Hawaii's biggest role model to young kids and even grown men, who are trying to live out their own dreams: the same way he did this season. "For those guys I remembered sitting in those seats, in a situation where going to instruction league, playing in winter ball, and looking at them and saying you got an opportunity that most kids don't get," he said.
